“This is one of my favorite winter light desserts, or a palate cleanser in the midst of a formal meal,” Chef Carol.

2 1/2 cups cranberry juice cocktail
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons   orange juice
1 tablespoon grated orange peel
1 tablespoon grated lemon peel

Add sugar to 1/2 cup cranberry juice, heat until dissolved. Add all other ingredients, chill well, freeze in ice cream freezer or in shallow pan in freezer, stirring about every 15-30 minutes.
