In my supermarket, I usually find three kinds of parsley: curly, Italian flat-leafed and cilantro. Curly parsley is great for a garnish, but I find that I rarely use it. Italian flat-leafed parsley has more flavor, and is quite versatile. Cilantro, also known as Mexican parsley, Chinese parsley or coriander leaves, has a unique flavor and is found in cuisines around the world, from Mexican to Indian, Southeast Asian and beyond.
