I like to use this rub on a pork tenderloin, let it rest about 2 hours, then put it on the grill for about 20 minutes.
asian wet barbeque rub
2 large cloves garlic, minced
2-inch piece ginger, minced
2 medium scallions, white & green part, minced
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon chili paste
¼ teaspoon five-spice powder
½ teaspoon kosher salt
Mix all ingredients together in small bowl.
